Take steps to increase revenue: CM
Chief Minister Raghubar Das has directed the Additional Chief Secretary, Mining UP Singh to gauge the current status of State revenue collection in Jharkhand and take further steps required to increase the same. CM also directed Singh to produce all facts and documents related to Mining Department in front Jharkhand High Court after consulting with the Advocate General to safeguard the interests of the State.
Sensitisation programme by Deepshikha
Building Construction Department, Deepshikha and Jharkhand Viklang Jan Forum jointly convened a two-day workshop to sensitise and orient architects towards universal design and accessibility on Sunday. The workshop included utility of accessibility, its concept, usefulness, basics of universal design and stimulation exercises. Around 100 architects and design engineers from different regions participated in the workshop.
Training session for youth at Vikas Bharti
The three-day handpump repair training session by Vikas Bharti for youth from various blocks of Ranchi. A total of 26 trainees were trained in the skill of handpump repairing during this session. At the official closing ceremony on Monday, Union Rural Development Minister Sudarshan Bhagat and Ranchi MP Ramtahal Choudhary will distribute handpump repair kits among the trainees.
Jharkhand Expo witnesses crowd
Janakpuri Dilli Hatt witnessed a huge crowd gathering on Sunday. People were interested in buying stuffs from Jharkhand and they also enjoyed the local cuisines of the Jharkhand. People also witnessed live demo of the production of ‘lac bangles’ by the local artists from Jharkhand. The expo was inaugurated by rural development minister of Jharkhand Neelkanth Singh Munda on Saturday evening. An Exporter Summit will be also organized on May 24.
