Ambedkar Jayanti at HEC
The 125th birth anniversary of Bhimrao Ambedkar was observed in the offices of HEC on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, HEC CMD Avijit Ghosh stated that Ambedkar not only gave us the Constitution but also presented himself as a great personality. Senior DGM Deepak Dubey called Ambedkar’s contribution to Indian politics irreplaceable.
Ramnavmi rituals at Chinmaya Ashram
Swami Madhavanand of Chimaaya Mission, Ranchi will hold special puja on the occasion of Ramnavmi on Friday. The puja will be conducted at Chimaya Ashram near Ranchi lake from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. An Upnishad Gyan Yagya will also be observed on Saturday.
Ola Auto launched in Ranchi
Ola announced the launch of auto-rickshaws on its platform in the city of Ranchi on Thursday. Ranchi was one of the 12 cities where auto-rickshaws were launched today. This will allow citizens to book their auto rides from the comfort of their home or office within minutes, at standardized fares, bringing immense economy and predictability to their auto rides.

India’s first pictorial magazine, ‘The Pictogram, Shades of life’, was launched in Ranchi on Thursday. Photographer Nayan Shourya stated that the pictures in the magazine present the contemporary scenarios as well as various aspects of Indian culture, villages, people and more.
