BJP welcomes new rail service
State BJP head Ravindra Kumar Rai along with other BJP leaders appreciated the efforts and extended his gratitude towards Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu for giving Jharkhand new rail service for southern region. BJP leaders also appreciated the efforts of CM Raghubar Das. Now travelling to Vellore, Tamil Nadu will be convenient for the people as new train facility from Hatia to Ernakulum; Kerala via Vellore will be started soon. Jharkhand government officials and ministers have been trying since long to start the rail service covering the Vellore route.
EESl distributes lED bulbs
Energy Efficiency Services limited (EESl), a public sector entity under the administration of Ministry of Power, started the distribution of lED bulbs under the Domestic Efficient lighting Programme (DElP) in Jharkhand. Raghubar Das launched the scheme on the occasion of Jharkhand Foundation Day. The distribution of lED bulbs has started in Ranchi, Hazaribagh and Deoghar and will be expanded to other cities in the coming days. Under the DElP scheme, in Jharkhand, each consumer is eligible for 10 lED bulbs per domestic household, at Rs100 each (against a market price of Rs350).
