Govt suspends two doctors
Department of Health on Friday suspended two doctors posted at Sadar Hospital, Ramgarh for abstaining from duty on September 9. According to a letter written by DC Ramgarh, Dr Dilip Kumar, hired as surgeon under NHM and Dr Tulika Rani, were found missing from the duty. Both the doctors will register their presence in AEBAS at Health department at Nepal House during the period of suspension.
JSPl wins best stall at RAFTS-2015
The stall put up by Jindal Steel and Power limited at second international conference on Rolling and Finishing Technology of Steel won the award for best stall. The award was received collectively by Business Head Harvinder Singh, Corporate Communication Head Rajiv Kishor and Brajesh Singh. The conference organised by RDCIS, SAIl saw participation from over 300 participants.
Anti-rabies vaccination camp
An anti-rabies vaccination camp was held at Provincial Veterinary Hospital on Friday. The camp was inaugurated by Animal Husbandry Director Rajnikant Mishra and Animal Health and Production Institute Director, Dr. Singh. Renowned veterinary doctors and associated institutions participated in the camp.
DPS organises Football match
Delhi Public School, Ranchi organised an Inter House Football match for football enthusiasts on September 11. The primary wing participated in the match. The league matches were held between all the Houses and culminated in a grand finale between Ganges House and Jhelum House. The Ganga house won the football match.
Workshop on Mobile Kunji use held
A workshop was conducted by the BBC and Save the children foundation on the use of mobile kunji. Mobile kunji is a tool kit for all the frontline functionaries like Sahiya, National Health Mission, health workers to provide details about the various heath care facilities. Even the audio messages about health care facility can be downloaded. The project will be started on pilot basis at Dumka, Chaibasa, Saraikela and Pakur.
Revenue Stamps available in Post offices
Now people can buy the revenue stamp from the concerned offices. The facility has been started by the postal department looking for the convenience of the public.
SBI functionaries on Ranchi visit
State Bank of India, Patna circle CGM Ajit Sood and GM (Jharkhand) Kishor Kumar Das are on a visit to Ranchi. During this visit, Sood will be distributing Mudra loan acceptance letter to 600 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana on Saturday. This ambitious Centre-run project aims at helping the small enterprises in matter of financing.
CPS releases Visionext-2015
Cambrian Public School released the sixth edition of school magazine Visionext-2015 on Friday. School Principal Neeta Pandey inaugurated the magazine. The magazine has been dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.
