IMA enquiry committee formed
Ranchi: In response to the request from Jharkhand State Health Services Union, an enquiry committee was formed, as instructed by Jharkhand State IMA President Pradeep Kumar Singh. It is to investigate the case related to Gumla RCH Officer Pradeep Kumar Pandey and Satyendra Narayan Singh, Personal Secretary to Minister for Health, Medical Education and Family Education.
Illegal liquor factory busted in Namkom
Ranchi: Continuing its campaign against illegal liquor across the state, Excise and Prohibition Department raided and sealed illegal liquor factory in Namkom block on Friday. 1000 liters of spirit, 45 cases of illegal foreign liquor, hundreds of bottles and apparatus was confiscated

NABARD’s revision of Unit Cost for 2015-16
Ranchi: The Unit Cost committee meeting for Jharkhand was convened by NABARD Jharkhand RO on July 23 under the chairmanship of S Mandal, Chief General Manager, to review and revise the unit cost of various farm sector investments. The meeting was attended by senior officers of RBI, SlBC, major financing banks, few lDMs & DDMs, line departments of the State Government viz., Horticulture & Food Processing, Fisheries.
Rangoli Competition at SBPS
Ranchi: A rangoli competition was held at Sarala Birla Public School to enhance creativity and unleash hidden potential of the students. All the students from class III to VIII participated in the competition. It was section wise and four groups participated from each section. Students participated with lot of enthusiasm as they put together their artistic skills, imagination and creativity to make bright beautiful rangolis.
