Section 144 imposed in Kute
In order to maintain law and order around the under construction boundary wall for the new Assembly Building at Kute village under Nagri block in Ranchi, SDO Sadar has imposed section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code in the radius of 500 meters from the under-constructed boundary wall. Remarkably, Visthapit Sangharsha Morcha and some other organizations have been objecting the ongoing construction work. Section 144 has been imposed at 5 pm on June 17 till further orders.
Ward Councillor given oath of office and secrecy
Under section 19 of Jharkhand Municipal Act 2011, the 39 year old newly elected Ward Councilor Rajesh Kumar was administered oath of office and secrecy by Ranchi Divisional Commissioner KK Khandelwal at the Collectorate Office in Ranchi. Mayor Asha lakra, Town Commissioner Prashant Kumar, DC Manoj Kumar, Deputy Mayor Sanjeev Vijaywargiya and other officials of district administration and Ranchi Municipal Corporation were also present during the programme.
workshop organised to conduct nrlm activities
A workshop was organized at District Council office to conduct NRlM activities efficiently in all blocks of Ranchi. The workshop was inaugurated by Chairperson, Sundari Tirkey and SHGs were provided valuable inputs about the various facets of the mission. State coordinator of JSlPS, Arvindam Mishra informed all participants about NRlM activities.
Yoga camp at Vikas Bharti
Vikas Bharti Ranchi is organising a Yoga camp at Ranchi office. Training at the camp is provided by Yoga Guru, Jivadanand Mahto and regular practice sessions are organized at the campus too.
