Keeping the police administration on toes, the theft incidents are increasing in Bokaro with an alarming rate.Thieves stole goods, cash and gadgets worth Rs1.25 lakh from four shops of Kurmidih Market in Bokaro district on Saturday night.This was the 25th theft incident within last 30 days, when thieves managed to escaped after stealing goods and cash.
On Saturday night, thieves broke the shutter of the shops and flew away with 20 mobile phones and Rs40,000 from Puja Telecom.A case has been filed by the owner of the shop, Ajay Sharma at local police station.In other incidents, thieves flew away with cash and other valuables from Rupa Studio, Nirmal Store and Vikash Store but their complaint yet to lodge, police said. An FIR has been lodged and we are investigating into matter, said OC of the police station.
