FJCCI raises issue of middlemen with ICDS min
A delegation of FJCCI in the leadership of Kunal Ajmani today met Minister Social Welfare and Child Development, louis Marandi and raised the issues of middlemen besides ill effects of middlemen in ICDS. The minister assured to pay attention to the issues raised by the apex body of traders.
FJCCI urges businessmen to submit grievances
Following instructions from Commercial taxes department the FJCCI urged its members to submit their grievances related to the department by January 24. The federation said that the complaints received will be sent to the department and actions.
Huge cache of detonators, arms recovered
Huge cache of detonators and arms has been recovered from Khunti on Tuesday. The recovery has been made as part of the Operation Karo launched to end the naxal menace. About 50 detonators and two rifle were have been recovered in the search operation.
Public Hearing at Minorities Commission
A public hearing on admission of BPl students in private schools was held at Jharkhand State Minorities Commission on Tuesday. 33 students of Ranchi District were registered for the admission. The Commission will accept registration forms till January 31. DSE Ranchi Jayant Kumar Mishra was present on the occasion.

Illinois University’s Physics Department Head Professor NK Jaggi attended a seminar at Ranchi University’s PG Physics department on Tuesday. Former RU VC AA Khan was present on the occasion.
Plastic Surgeons’ Conference on Jan 24
The two day annual conference of Bihar and Jharkhand Chapter of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India will be unveiled at RIMS on January 24. On the first day, an operative workshop on cases like breast reconstruction and rhinoplasty is scheduled. CME lectures will be conducted on the second day.
Art and Sports Events at Synergy Fest
With the end of Synergy 2015, students of RIMS explored their talents in the field of art and sports. Reema, Jennifer and Sneha of 2011 batch bagged the top positions in painting. In sketching, the winners were Ragini (2012), Antabha (2012) and Smriti (2014). A creative event Best out of Waste was also organized.
RU Exam Calendar-2015 released
The 2015 academic session calendar of Ranchi University was published on Tuesday. The last date of filing exam form for UG part one exam is scheduled in first week of May. UG Part 2 and Final Year form fill up are scheduled in April and March. PG Semester 2 and 4 forms will be filled in second week of May. The third semester exam form will be filled in first week of May. The annual theory exams will be concluded by July.
Kerala leads National School Athletics Meet
Even on the second day of 60th National School Athletics meet organized at Mega Sports Complex Kerala remained on the first position. PT Usha’s student made a national record in the tournament today. The tournament will conclude on January 23.
CM to attend RU’s NSS function
CM Raghubar Das will attend the felicitation ceremony of around 200 college students under RU NSS Skill Development in collaboration with TISS on January 23. The programme will be organized at Aryabhatt Auditorium. Students of Ranchi Women’s College and Marwari College will be felicitated among the list of marked 200 students. The programme is run under Ministry of Youth Affairs.
