State Govt promotes 2 IAS officers
The State Government today promoted two IAS officers to the rank of Additional Chief Secretary. Among the IAS officers to be promoted include Principal Secretary, Agriculture & Sugarcane, Vishnu Kumar and Principal Secretary, Home, NN Pandey who will also be in additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary Cabinet Secretariat & Coordination department. Meanwhile, Secretary, Welfare, Sunil Kumar Barnwal has been relieved with immediate effect to take charge as Director, Electronic & Information Technology department, Government of India.
EAST Zone quiz organised
The EAST Zone round of 15th edition of National Management Quiz (NMQ) and 2nd Edition of National HRD Quiz - SHAKTI was organized by All India management Association (AIMA) in Kolkata on December 6. The team from MTI, Ranchi representing Srimant Kumar Mallick & Daisy Mala emerged as the Winners and Runners–Up of East Zone round of SHAKTI and NMQ. In the NMQ and SHAKTI Quiz around 20 teams from various companies had participated. The team from MTI qualifies for the final round to be held in New Delhi on December 20.
Ichagarh registers max turnout
Ichagarh registered the maximum polling percentage (79.70 per cent) among 17 constituencies that went to poll in the third phase of election followed by Silli (77.61 per cent) as overall voting percentage in third phase reached 64.05 per cent.
