CM aye to prosecution, road construction
CM Hemant Soren sanctioned prosecution of Ramkishun Yadav accused in case number 312/13 registered in October 2013. Yadav was found guilty prima facie under section-153 of IPC. Soren gave his assent for construction of guard-wall along Marvai-Garu Road under latehar Division of Road Construction department. The sanctioned project is estimated to cost Rs 50-lakh.
lt Gen AB Shivane departs Ranchi
On Thursday, lt Gen AB Shivane, VSM, General Officer Commanding Strike1, left Ranchi after completing his four days visit. During his stay, he visited Dipatoli and Namkom Military Stations and interacted with all ranks on various training and administrative issues. Before leaving, he called upon the Governor and Chief Secretary of Jharkhand. Maj Gen Rajiv Edwards, GOC Cockerel Division was also present during the interaction with the Governor and the Chief Secretary.
DC Gandhinagar’s success mantra to students
Changing lives Transforming India organized a counseling programme--’Jeevan Dahar’-- for the children of Prakash School at Hulhundu to provide career guidance to children of the school. IAS officer and Deputy Commissioner of Gandhinagar Ravishankar interacted with students of the school and shared mantra for success. Ravishankar is a resident of Bokaro. The programme was convened by social worker Xavier Kacchap who launched the programme with the slogan ‘Mera Vikas Mera Faisla’.
