Tata Motors announces five-day block closure
Jamshedpur: Tata Motors commercial vehicle plant at Jamshedpur would take a five-day block closure from September 26 to October 2 that includes the holidays for September 29 and October 2 being a paid holiday. P J Singh, Tata Motors spokesperson issued a communiqué said: “ Under the prevailing market scenario the company has to take appropriate action time to time to match the production with demand and avoid unnecessary build up of inventories in the company or with the dealers”.
CCl CMD felicitates wrestler Rakhi Tirkey
Gopal Singh, chairman-cum-managing director, Central Coalfields limited on Monday felicitated Rakhi Tirkey for her national achievement at Coal Room, Darbhanga House, Ranchi. She has participated in 16th Girls Sub Junior and 32nd Boys Sub Junior wrestling Competition organised by Wrestling Federation of India at Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Rakhi got medal for achieving second rank in the above competition. KS Patro, General Manager(Welfare), Adil Hussain, Sr. Manager(Sports) and others were present on the occasion.
Yoga camp begins at CCl
R R Mishra, the director (Personnel) on Monday inaugurated a workshop on “Yoga and Stress Management for Excessive Tension” at Vichar Manch, CCl Darbhanga House. While inaugurating Mishra said that Yoga helps to make mind and body peaceful and gives positive energy. Sri Akhilesh Sharma, H N Pathak - two hails from Vihangam Yoga- trained the participants in the morning. This session will continue for three days. R R Panigrahi from Vivekanand Anusandhan Kendra, Bengaluru trained the employees in the afternoon session. It will continue for a week.
CCl CMD hands over OBS’ cheque to KIN
Gopal Singh, chairman-cum-Managing Director, Central Coalfields limited on Monday handed over Officers Benevolent Society(OBS)’s cheque of Rs3 lakhs to Rookhmani Devi, spouse of late Rajendra Rajak, subordinate engineer(excavation) of Khas Mahal Project of B& K Area. Ramesh Kumar Singh, General Secretary of OBS and Rajkumar Singh, A R Pillai(both Vice President), D Kumar, Vinay Shanker and others were present on this occasion.
