NRHM contract employees threaten to protest
The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) contractual employees, during a meeting, have decided to ghareo Union Health Minister Gulam Ali Azad on September 23. The NRHM employees from all over the State will gather in large number at Ranchi airport area and will move towards RIMS in the form of protest march with black flags and their four demands. NRHM employees association has already submitted their demands and so they will wait till September 21. If their demands are not met then they will decide about the strike.

CM donates Blood, asks Youth to follow suit
CM Hemant Soren donated blood during a camp organised by Voluntary Blood Donor Association and RIMS at his residence on this Thursday. The CM told the officials of association and RIMS to organise campaign in such a manner that the youth of State is inspired to donate blood.
IMA offers condolence on Shivshankar’s death
Indian Medical Association (IMA) held an emergency meeting to express condolence for Dr Shivshankar Prasad, who died during an inspection at Jamshedpur. IMA members gathered in huge numbers and criticised such type of inspection and discussed about the lack of facilities at the work place. They also decided to meet Health Minister Rajendra Singh to discuss about the incident.
State-level committee of FJCCI, CT dept formed
A State-level committee comprising officials of Commercial Taxes (CT) department and FJCCI was constituted on Thursday. The committee will have secretary-cum-commissioner CT as its chairman, additional commissioner CT, commissioner CT, RK Tibrewal, Arun Khemka and Suresh Santhalia as its members. The committee will try to address concerns regarding discrepancies in rules framed by the department besides evolving consensus on rules framed in future.
