More than 100 people of seven blocks in Gajapati district who are suffering from diarrhoea have been admitted at the District headquarters Hospital here.
Sources said nearly 30 people were admitted at the hospital with serious condition.
Due to lack of personal hygiene, irregularity in food habits, consumption of contaminated water and food and continuous rains are the main reasons for the spread of diarrhoea, locals said and urged the district and health administrations to take proactive measures to check the spread of the disease.
