Sahay, Tirkey to hold janata darbar from may 13
Ranchi MP Subodh Kant Sahay and district board Chairperson Sundari Tirkey will together hold janata darbar from May 13 to June 1 at the block level to hear the problems of the villagers. Sahay and Tirky will be visiting the different blocks of Ranchi district for the purpose. Janata darbar will be held at the block headquarters at the morning from 10 am to 2 pm, while they will meet the congress workers from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
ICFAI holds first Research
Board Meet in city The first meeting of the Research Board of the ICFAI University was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor ORS Rao on Thursday. The members chalked out the evaluation guidelines and modalities for Presentation of Synopsis by the Doctorate scholars commencing from May 11. Considering the view points of all the members, the evaluation modalities and parameters were decided.

Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey directed all the District Education Officers and Block Education Officers to provide him the list of the schools wherein the school premises has been encroached so that the schools can soon be freed from such illegal approaches. Choubey also ordered for construction of ramps for the handicapped students.
