Action against absentee electoral officers
The administration would take strong punitive actions against the electoral officers who were absent in the training programme organised for the training of the electoral officers. The administration had organised the training programmes for electoral officers to take participate in civic body election at around 50 centers. A total of 103 workers were found absent during the training programme.
Army organises medical camp at Chaibasa
A two day multi-specialty medical outreach camp was organised at Chaibasa starting on 02 April 2013 by army under the direction of Major General Sanjiv Varma, General Officer Commanding Cockerel Division. Inauguration of the camp was attended by Brig NS Sarna, Colonel RK Choudhary, K Srinivasan, DC Chaibasa, Dr ADN Prasad, Civil surgeon, Dr Ashok Mishra, P Kamboj, SP Chaibasa, Colonel S Naskar, Colonel D Pandey and Colonel P Kumar besides other medical and non-medical dignitaries. A total of 720 patients were seen during the camp wherein surgical, medical, eye, dental and other specialist doctors provided consultation. Health Screening camp and Health Museum were also organised during the camp which were appreciated by all.
