Deputy Commissioner of Hazaribag Nancy Sahay has issued directives to the health department for deputation of doctors and health employees during the Ramnavami festival.
As per the direction the civil surgeon and superintendent of SBMCH have deputed the 25 doctors and 100 health employees in Sheikh Bhikari Medical College and Hospital.
The SBMCH will work 24x7 from 30 March to 1 April in three shifts. The doctors’ teams with medicine and primary treatment will be on 16 sites of the town on the routes of the procession.
First time in Ramnavami, the district administration has decided to issue the serial number to processions that will come to show the talents. The district administration is ready to conduct a peaceful festival with communal harmony in Hazaribag. The DC and SP have visited all the routes of the processions.
According to the information the police administration has used more than 300 CCTV and 100 drone cameras that will keep an eye on the anti-social elements.
Police sources said that more than 100 camerapersons have been deputed by the police on the different spots of the route of the procession. They will keep an eye on every person who will cross the route.
DC Nancy Sahahy, SP Manoj Ratan Chothey, DDC Prerna Dixit and IAS trainee Shatabadi Majumdar along with other officers have visited the all routes of procession physically.
Hazaribag is the only district in the country where Ramnavmi is celebrated for three days. More than 100 processions will be on the roads to show their talents with traditional weapons.
Senior officers have issued directions to the officer to be watchful on the role of police force along with static magistrates, who have been deputed by the administration in different places.
The barricading work of sensitive areas is going on. This will be completed before the festival. The DC has ordered that all the construction material should be removed from the roads as well as in front of the houses.
