A huge explosion rocked the Bokaro Railway loco running staff’s running room at around 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Haradhan and Sarita, workers in the running room’s kitchen, were critically hurt in the incident. According to the reports, many personnel were injured but they all fled the scene. Prima facie, the explosion seems like it was triggered by a ruptured LPG cylinder.
After an assessment of the exposion site, the kitchen wall was found to be entirely damaged on two sides, and there was a report of a break in the ceiling.
