Jharkhand ATS has arrested two accomplices of dreaded gangster Aman Srivastava. Police also recovered Rs 50 lakh cash from their possession. The accused have been identified as Ejaz and M Singh. ATS interrogation of both is going on. ATS is trying to find out from whom money has been collected in the form of extortion.
According to the information, the ATS team had received information that two criminals of Aman Srivastava gang, Ejaz and M Singh, were to meet a businessman of Ranchi. The police based on tip off kept an eye on their criminals activities. When the criminals reached at undisclosed location to collect the extortion money from the businessman and where to decamped the spot after collecting the money in the car towards Pithoria via Kanke Road. The police cordoned off the routes. When the ATS officers got information that both the criminals would go to Patratu or Ramgarh via Pithoria, preparations started to nab them in the middle of Kanke Pithoria itself. The ATS cordon worked and the criminals were nabbed at one place on the Kanke Pithoria road by creating an artificial jam by the ATS.
Rs 50 lakh cash has been recovered from the arrested criminals. During interrogation, both the criminals told the ATS that on the behest of their boss i.e. Aman Srivastava, they had gone to collect extortion money from a big businessman of Ranchi.
In May this year Jharkhand’s big gangster Aman Srivastava was arrested by Jharkhand’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).
Srivastva was arrested from Mumbai and later brought to Ranchi. His gang was synonymous with terror in districts like Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Lohardaga, Latehar and Chatra
This gang had a lot of influence on the coal siding of the railway. Apart from this, this gang was continuously collecting extortion from all the big businessmen of Jharkhand. Jharkhand Police was also conducting raids regarding this, but now ATS has got a big success.
