The State government on Thursday transferred and posted 18 officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). A notification in this regard was issued by the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Official Language on Thursday.
According to the notification, Ajay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Rural Works Department, along with his functions, will be on additional charge of Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department. Transport Secretary Rajesh Kumar Sharma has now been made Secretary in the Department of Labour Planning and Training Skills. Secretary, Scheduled Tribes, Castes, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, K. Srinivasan will hold the additional charge of Transport Secretary along with his functions. Secretary, Labour Planning and Training Department, Praveen Kumar Toppo has been made the Divisional Commissioner of South Chotanagpur Division. Lokesh Mishra, Deputy Development Commissioner, Koderma, has been appointed as Tribal Welfare Commissioner.
Neha Arora, director of planning and training department, has now been appointed as additional secretary in drinking water and sanitation department. Sanjeev Kumar Besra, Additional Secretary, Planning and Development Department, has been appointed as Labour Commissioner. Tribal Welfare Commissioner Mukesh Kumar has been made the director of Sri Krishna Institute of Public Administration, Ranchi. Along with this, Mukesh Kumar will also hold the additional charge of Director in the Information and Public Relations Department and Vice President of Ranchi Area Development Authority.
Joint Secretary, Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, Dinesh Kumar Yadav has been made Deputy Development Commissioner, Ranchi. Ranchi Deputy Development Commissioner Vishal Sagar has been made Director, Information Technology. Lohardaga Deputy Commissioner Garima Singh has been made director of higher education. Dumka's Deputy Development Commissioner Karan Satyarthi has been made Product Commissioner.
Abhijeet Sinha, Joint Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, will hold the charge of Managing Director, Jharkhand Medical and Health Infrastructure Development Procurement Corporation Limited along with his functions. Rituraj, Joint Secretary in the Labour Planning Department, has been appointed as Koderma Sub-Development Commissioner. Municipal Commissioner of Medininagar Municipal Corporation, Sameera S. Lohardaga has been made Deputy Development Commissioner. Ravi Anand, Joint Secretary, Scheduled Tribes, Castes, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, has been made Deputy Development Commissioner of Palamu, along with his duties, he will be the Municipal Commissioner of Medininagar Corporation.
