Child Welfare Officers (CWO) from each of the 14 police stations named as Model Child-Friendly Police Stations have been called for a training session on Tuesday. These 14 CWOs will be instructed in provisions of Juvenile Justice Act and child rights by officials of Crime Investigation Department and UNICEF.
Officers-in-Charge of Kotwali, Doranda, Dhurwa, Sukhdeonagar, Hindpiri, Sadar, lalpur, Bariatu, Gonda, Jagannathpur, Chutia, lower Bazaar, Kanke and Tatisilwai police stations have been instructed by SSP Kuldeep Dwivedi to send CWOs from their respective police stations for the training seminar.
