Police seized 1.25 kg of opium from Kamesh Yadav alias Suryadev Yadav near West of the Panki barrage last night. SP Palamu Indrajeet Mahatha said this opium was to be supplied to one Deep Singh of Adampur village under Jalandhar district in Punjab.
Police have seized one cell phone and the bike without the registration plate on which Yadav was riding with one more Gulli Yadav who managed to escape.
The arresting of this opium smuggler was done on Panki loharssi road.
