Hazaribagh police have arrested ten accused of the Barkagaon incident and they all have been sent to central jail on Monday. However, prime accused Ex-Minister Yogendra Sao, MlA Nirmala Devi, her representative Upendra Kumar are still absconding and a
search operation to nab them is on in the area.
SP Akhilesh Jha said that the police have arrested 12 people during the raids however two were released after investigation. He said that search operation is on and soon rest of the accused will be brought behind the bars. He further said that the situation in Barkagaon is now normal but as a precaution the police force is still camping on the construction site of NTPC.
As per the sources, police have made ample raids for Yogendra Sao and his wife MlA Nirmala Devi through more than a dozen spots. Even if a rumour broke out on Monday morning that both have been arrested at Ranchi Hazaribagh police didn’t confirm their arrest and told it was a rumour.
