Under the leadership of Aditya Vikram Jaysawal, President of the Jharkhand State Professional Congress Committee, the event 'Think-2024' was organized here on Saturday. Notable guests at the event included Jharkhand Congress In-charge Avinash Pandey, State Congress President Rajesh Thakur, former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay, Agriculture Minister Badal and State Congress General Secretary Ajay Nath Shahdev.

Before the program began, all prominent guests were welcomed by the Professional Congress with garlands, flower bouquets, shawls, and mementos.

Addressing the gathering, Jharkhand Congress In-charge Avinash Pandey emphasized that every individual is first a citizen of the country, and the state plays a crucial role. No society can thrive without business and commerce. Recognizing the importance of this, the Professional Congress has been reinvigorated. Professionals played a pivotal role in the formation of this party and in the freedom struggle. Even though Mahatma Gandhi was a professional, he chose the path of service through the Congress and secured independence for the nation. Therefore, the Congress, with its secular ideology, has united people from all walks of life and played a role in the nation's reconstruction, which has been acknowledged globally. The same vision, initially outlined in the Five-Year Plan, has now evolved and is being carried out under the name "Niti  Ayog Today, Jharkhand stands out as the strongest among the three states created together - Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, and Jharkhand. The skilled and intellectual class in Jharkhand is unmatched in other states.

Rajesh Thakur, the President of the Jharkhand Congress, stated that their government takes the issues of professionals seriously. However, the level of work they aspire to do for professionals has not been matched by any government. He urged everyone present to collaborate with the party and the government with the same dedication they displayed at the event. Despite having all the resources and labour, people are leaving the state in search of employment. It is a collective responsibility to address this. He also touched upon the issue of unemployment in the country.

Former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay stressed the need for public-private partnerships to boost the business sector, stating that until farmers are actively involved in production, the agricultural sector will suffer. Jharkhand, with its abundant mineral resources, has a golden opportunity for industrial development. He highlighted the importance of establishing industries that not only generate employment but also contribute to the state's revenue.

Agriculture Minister Badal expressed the desire of every individual to contribute to their state, profession, and career. Politics is a noble field, and it should be viewed as a means to promote the state's development. However, nowadays, politics has become a source of income, leading to corruption. Just as in sports, where there is sportsmanship, there should be a sense of service in politics. He emphasized the need for professionals to step into the field of public service.

Aditya Vikram Jaysawal, President of the Jharkhand State Professional Congress Committee, expressed gratitude in his address, emphasizing that the Professional Congress in Jharkhand is committed to working with dedication towards the vision of 'Think-2024.' They aim to resolve professional issues by fostering coordination between the party, organization, and government. He noted that 27% of the population in Jharkhand belongs to the Adivasi community, yet their participation in business or industry is only 2.5%. He stressed the importance of Adivasi development and upliftment in Jharkhand, calling for collaboration between CIIs and the state government.

The Open Forum saw Rohit Poddar and Amit Sharma from the Chamber of Commerce highlighting the need to address emerging issues in business and streamline the single window system to alleviate the challenges faced by entrepreneurs.

Meenakshi Singh, the State Secretary of the Professional Congress, expressed gratitude to all attendees, concluding the event.
