‘Nitish model of governance can bring turnaround’’

PNS

JDU, the NDA alliance partner in neighbouring Bihar launched a full-fledged attack on BJP stating that Jharkhand needs an alternative alliance, as on one hand BJP is a communal party, the JMM Congress are corrupt.

At the JDU working committee meet held at party office, State JDU president and former MP Salkhan Murmu announced that the party will contest all 81 seats in Jharkhand on Nitish Kumar’s model of governance.

The JDU’s working committee meet was attended by Murmu, Jharkhand JDU in-charge and Bihar minister Ramsewak Singh and co in-charge Arun Kumar Singh along with other State leaders.

Murmu said, “In present context only Nitish’s model of governance can bring turnaround in State. The Nitish model of governance is tried and tested as under the leadership of Nitish Kumar Bihar is witnessing all round development.”

The State president said while in Bihar, Nitish Kumar has successfully implemented prohibition, the Raghubar Das Government on other hand has opened liquor shops at every nook and corners of State.

He said that they had demanded the Raghubar Das government to introduce prohibition in State but the BJP Government whose primary goal is to protect the interest of businessmen and traders has little concern for society.

Highlighting some of the works carried out by Nitish Kumar Government in Bihar, the JDU State president claimed that the Nitish Kumar Government as promised has delivered piped water supply at villages, 24 hours power supply along with improvement in education and health sector.

Murmu claimed that JDU should not be considered weak as in Delhi Aam Adami Party (AAP) under the leadership of Chief Minister of Delhi  Arvind Kejriwal made both BJP and Congress to bite the dust with APP winning 63 seats out of 70 in Delhi Assembly election.

The JDU which is having arrow as election symbol in Bihar has been allotted farmer driving tractor symbol to the Jharkhand unit of Janata Dal(United).

The JD(U) Jharkhand unit had proposed a fresh symbol after the Election Commisssion of India  accepted the petition of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha to freeze the JD(U)s arrow symbol in Jharkhand as it matched with JMMs bow and arrow symbol.
