Deputy Commissioner Nancy Sahay visited the campus and different departments of Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital here on Tuesday. She visited the underconstruction blood bank building in the campus and said that construction work of the blood bank must be according to the standard mentioned in the DPR.
She issued the direction to the district engineer and civil surgeon that they must be watchful to see that the newly constructed building must be equipped with all facilities for the patients. She visited the waiting room, toilet, dispatch room, donor room, laboratory, CCTV and lift for the patients.
She checked the quality of the material of construction. She directed the district engineer that there will be no compromise on the quality.
During the visit Deputy Development Commissioner Prerna Dixit examined the tiles, electric equipment, generator and other material.
Both the officers visited the under construction canteen building which is going to be constructed under District Mineral Foundation Trust fund. The officers instructed the engineer that there must be proper arrangement of light and ventilation in the building.
They instructed the civil surgeon on the issue of cleanliness in the campus. They said that there must be an arrangement for the proper parking of four wheelers and two wheelers in the campus. They have visited the outdoor services of the hospital and instructed that the doctors must be on their duty in the department. The patients will not wait for the doctors.
