The Youth Connect Festival, organized by the Jashpur district administration in Chhattisgarh, ended on Monday, showcasing the natural beauty to youths from across the country.

The festival's primary objective was to establish national recognition for the district in the field of tourism.

This four-day event was held at a renowned tourism destination, Deshdekha. It offered a diverse range of activities including music sessions, camping, trekking, storytelling and exploration.

In addition to exploring tourism sites, the event sought to showcase local art, culture, traditions and cuisine.

Teams from 11 states including Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Odisha and Assam participated.

The state government, in collaboration with the district administration, is continually working to promote and preserve the region's natural beauty.

The government is organizing initiatives to connect people with tourism, provide employment opportunities and attract tourists.

Located about 12 kilometers from the city, the Deshdekha viewpoint offers a breathtaking view of the sunset from an altitude of approximately 1,300 feet.
