A female ultra carrying reward of Rs1 lakh on her arrest was held during a search operation carried out by security forces in Kuakonda region of the insurgency riddled Dantewada district.
Superintendent of Police, Dantewada, Kamlochan Kashyap informed that the arrested woman was identified as Mude alias Mukke (21) resident of Bade Bedma village of the district.
She was arrested by a joint squad of 111th battalion of CRPF and District Force (DF). Mukke was President of Krantikari Mahila Sangh one of the offshoots of banned outfit Communist Party of India (Maoist) active in Kuakonda region. She had also worked with local Operating Squad (lOS) in Malangir area of the Bastar region, the SP said. Mukke was also involved in attack on the house of Congress party leader Awdhesh Gautam at Nakulnar in July, 2010. A local court had issued permanent warrant for her arrest, he said.
