The Congress said on Sunday that it has won all the three earlier byelections in Chhattisgarh and it will also win the Khairagarh battle because the BJP does not have any issue to go before the people.
Congress communication department President Sushil Anand Shukla said he expected a one-sided victory for his party at Khairagarh.
The late Devvrat Singh, a former Congress leader before he joined the Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (Jogi), had shown a desire to return to the party fold but could not due to technical reasons. His sudden demise is the reason for the byelection.
Earlier, BJP has lost the byelections in Chitrakote, Dantewada and Marwahi, Shukla said. The BJP has been rendered without issues to counter the achievements of the state government, he added.
