Staff Reporter

Newly-appointed chief of BJP’s Chhattisgarh unit Vishnudeo Sai, who assumed charge at the party’s State headquarters here on Wednesday expressed his resolve to ensure the party’s win in all 11 seats in the upcoming lok Sabha polls in the State.

“let me assure that I will emerge successful in performing my duties assigned by the central leadership who had reposed great faith in my abilities.” he said after being welcomed at the BJP State headquarters here by a large number of party’s workers. Sai said that it was a coincidence that in 2010, he handed over the charge of the party’s State president to Ramsevak Paikra and now he had handed over charge to him again as the party’s chief.

After assuming the charge, he called upon the party workers to immediately start preparations for the lok Sabha polls. He said the UPA coalition at the Centre was on the way out and the Congress was busy trying to retain power. “The people across the country are fed up with rising prices besides high unemployment rate and are in a mood for effecting a change,” he added.

The newly appointed State chief stated that the workers needed to create an environment for the lok Sabha polls by taking various schemes of the ruling party in Chhattisgarh to the masses. Speaking on the occasion, the party’s former State chief Ramsevak Paikra said that was an assurance on part of the workers to ensure victory in all the 11 lok Sabha seats in Chhattisgarh and contribute towards making Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country.
