The villagers of Mukram in Sukma district had been keeping away from voting in the last three elections to avoid the wrath of the Maoists.The village, which has 859 voters, is in the red zone and the residents of the village either leave the village a day before the scheduled polling date or visit their relatives in the neighbouring districts.
