SR

Reacting to the statements of BJP lok Sabha candidate MP Ramesh Bais, the Congress candidate from Raipur lS constituency and MlA Satyanarayan Sharma said on Saturday that the voters would teach him a lesson this time. He added that this time the fight in Raipur seat would be between activeness and passiveness.

‘Hurt’ with Bais’ remarks, Sharma said the voters now would vote for the Congress and his victory was almost decided. Speaking to media persons here, Sharma said that after winning lS election from Raipur for six times, Bais has been in-active. This time people here would teach him a lesson and would make the Congress winner. On the remarks of Bais, Sharma said that his party had given ticket of Congress leader Chhaya Verma and she was a strong candidate. All the voters are angry for calling her ‘fuse bulb’. The result of Raipur seat will say that who is weak.

On the indignation of Manva Kurmi community over denial of ticket to Verma, Sharma said that there were many leaders of the community in the Congress. Discussions were being held with them. There was no resentment in the community. All are with him. Verma herself was working with him and there was no indignation in her. Voters are aware and they are with him. Voters themselves would ask Bais what about corruption in ration, kerosene, fear-free government and mosquito, dust and pollution free city.

Sharma alleged that Bais has been MP for 30 years. All the voters knew his passivity. Voters would definitely revenge the humiliation of the daughter of the city. He said that the decision to change the candidature of Verma was of the party.

The party has made him candidate. He was active in the constituency for a long time and this time he would make the Congress winner. The voters would hover over like a mighty wind for him. Service to the common man was and will be his objective.

On a question over the allegations and counter allegations of the BJP, Swabhiman Manch and AAP, Sharma said that he did not mind any allegation or counter allegation, whether they called him ‘tube-light without choke’ or any thing else. He said that he did not want to make such base remarks. All Congressmen are united and fight the election in unison. His victory from Raipur seat is almost decided and he would fly the Congress flag from Raipur this time, Sharma added.
