The Statewide Vikas Yatra taken out by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh from the distant Dantewada will conclude ceremonially at Ambikapur, the headquarters of Surguja revenue division, with a public meeting after a road show on September 7.
On this occasion, senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will address the gathering at the pandal prepared in the shape of Red Fort.
According to sources, the second statewide Vikas Yatra of the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, after the one he had taken out in the year 2008, has made an indelible imprint in the hearts of the people of the State, like his first yatra.
The Vikas Yatra, taken out with a message of development of the state, on the roads of villages, settlements and cities, has attracted the people, especially the simple, gentle personality of the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh. In the yatra also, new expectations have been aroused in the minds of the people of the State.
