A delegation from the MacArthur Foundation and Global Methane Hub from the US on Thursday met Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and discussed ways to reduce methane emissions and environment conservation.
The delegation had a detailed discussion with Baghel on the possibilities of reducing methane emission, ensuring environmental protection and increasing employment opportunities in Chhattisgarh.
Jargan Thomson, Director of Climate Programme, MacArthur Foundation, Marcelo Meena, CEO, Global Methane Hub, Uma Bhattacharya, Swaniti Initiative, and Ankit Anand, Secretary to the Chief Minister, were present on the occasion.
