Union Budget ‘balanced economic document’: CCCI

Describing the Union Budget as a ‘balanced economic document’, the Chhattisgarh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) said on Tuesday that its long-term provisions will be good for the business and industries in the country.

In a joint statement, office bearers of CCCI under leadership of their state unit chief Amar Parwani said that though there is disappointment among small businessmen, the budget will prove to be effective in achieving the long-term goals.

The provisions made for roads, railway, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and for Make in India had stirred hope in the business people, they said.

The business organizations had demanded provisions for strong law for e-commerce policy, easing the GST and hike in income tax slab, but they were disappointed for not getting the desired results, Parwani said.

Keeping in view the enthusiasm in youths, the union government had taken in priority the digital and crypto currency. The digitalization in rural areas will help in investments from them in the market and this would be good for the economy of the country, they said.

“The economy of the country would also be benefitted with it and this will result in financial liquidity to the business sector,” the CCCI leaders said.
