An event organized by the Union Bank of India on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti here underlined the importance of Gandhian principles for development of the country.
Padma Shri Phoolbasan Baiji presided over the event. She spoke about the contribution of banks to the development of rural areas and the increasing self-reliance of women.
On this occasion, the bank distributed approval letters to customers for home and vehicle loans as well as loans under the Ab Nari Ki Bari scheme.
