Two Naxalites, one of them carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head, surrendered to security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district, police said on Tuesday.
Ganga and Deva, who surrendered on Monday, were part of the Dandakaranya Adivasi Kisan Majdoor Sangthan (DAKMS), Sukma Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma said.
Ganga, the DAKMS President, carried a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head, he said.
They will be given financial assistance and rehabilitated as per the state government policies, the officer said.
