In a bizarre incident a tribal maha Panchayat comprising heads of around hundred tribal villages in Maoists infested Tundi block outcastes a young female who performed inter-religion marriage.
The parents of the girl were ordered to perform last rites of their daughter by the tribal maha Panchayat after the girl of Khormo village weded a Christian boy of nearby Jhageu village in South Tundi locality of the block.
The tribal Panchayat popularly known as Manjhi Haram that happens to be the final decision making body of the tribals took discussion just to ensure that the traditions of the community remain intact and young generations abided by the tribals traditional laws and customs.
