Transgenders from across the country marked their presence in the Kalash Yatra taken out here in the presence of Mayor Madhubai, the first transgender Mayor of the city and the State.The aim of the Yatra is to maintain peace across the nation and the globe.It received an overwhelming response from eminent citizens, ward corporators and the public since it was taken out after a long time.
The Yatra, started from the house of Mayor in Darogapara, and passed through Station Road, Subhash Chowk, Ramniwas Talkies Chowk, Gopi Talkies, Gourishankar Road and other areas and culminated at Sattagudi Chowk.Transgenders from Odisha, West Bengal, J&K and different parts of Chhattisgarh actively participated in the Yatra.
