Officers of the Revenue, Information and Technology as well as Finance departments in Chhattisgarh will prepare a time-bound action plan for geo-referencing work of land records.
The decision was taken by an Empowered Group of Secretaries (EGS) chaired by Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain on Tuesday at Mantralaya in Nava Raipur.
The meeting was to review the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti Yojana and progress of geo-referencing of land records. The review found slow progress in the process.
The departments were asked to prepare a time-bound plan, an official communication said.
The meeting had detailed discussion on various topics to be included in the Master Plan of Chhattisgarh under the scheme. Officials of various departments including the Women and Child Development, Higher and Technical Education, Agriculture, Horticulture, Energy, Sports and Youth Welfare and Commerce and Industry were present. These departments are also uploading Geographic Information System (GIS) data in Gati Shakti portal.
