A woman Naxalite carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh on her head was among three Naxalites arrested from separate places in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district on Saturday.
Bijapur Additional Superintendent of Police Pankaj Shukla identified them as Lalita Muchaki and Sukka Madkam and Punem Sannu, both aged 28.
The Central Reserve Police Force and the police apprehended Muchaki and Madkam near Putkel village while Sannu was nabbed from Gundem village during the search operation, he added.
Muchaki was the Local Organisation Squad (LOS) member and carried a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on her head, Shukla said.
The two others were lower rung cadres in the outlawed Maoist movement.
The police recovered a detonator, a pipe bomb, electric wires and four gelatins from Muchaki and Madkam.
