Three labourers were killed when an iron tank with fly ash accidentally fell on them at a private power plant in Chhattisgarh’s Raigarh district on Sunday, police said.
Two others were injured in the incident at Sky Alloys and Power Pvt Ltd in Temtema area, Raigarh Superintendent of Police Abhishek Meena said.
The tank crashed on labourers engaged in welding and gas cutting tasks, killing three of them instantly.
The deceased were identified as Munilal Ram and Basant Yadav, both from Bihar, and Yadram Sarthi of Raigarh district, the officer said.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed grief over the accident.
