In two separate cases Raipur police arrested three persons including a minor and seized valuables worth Rs 2 lakh from their possession, police said on Saturday.
The Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths informed that two accused identified as Imran Khan and Akash Tiwari resident of Arihant Nagar Sarona were arrested near Prabhat talkies while they were trying to find buyers for stolen aluminium ladders. During interrogation the duo confessed of stealing about 18 aluminium ladders from the godown of Vijay Kumar in their vicinity. The market value ladder is about Rs 1 lakh, which were seized from their home police said. In another case a minor was arrested for committing theft from a vacant house in Amrapali society.Accused was arrested while he was trying to sell ornaments police claimed and added that ornaments worth Rs 80,000 were seized from him.
