Chief Minister Raman Singh on Friday said the country did not face a single price rise situation during six years of NDA rule at the Centre.
“The Congress party promised to bring down the prices within 100 days of coming to power at the Centre. The party had not been able to fulfil its promise even till now,” he said while addressing a party workers’ convention at Shivrinarayan in the district on Friday. Singh said that during the six-year NDA rule under Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee between 1998 and 2004, there was no price rise situation experienced even once even when the country faced a situation of an economic blockade.
Party MP from Janjgir-Champa Kamla Devi Patle said that the people are keen to make Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country. ‘From the massive participation of the workers in the convention it is certain that the BJP would form the next government at the Centre,’ she said.
