Staff Reporter

Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal has said that terrorism was a challenge at international level for human society and was actually an ‘ideological distortion.’

He was addressing the Gyananjali monthly lecture series on topic ‘Terrorism-the biggest challenge’ organised by Prajapati Bramhakumari Ishwariya University at Choubey Colony here on Sunday evening. Agrawal said terrorism was the attempt of mischievous elements to distort human ideologies. “It consumes money, force and intelligence in bulk but does no good to humanity,” he said.

He said that India has the culture of world fraternity that aims for peace and prosperity of entire human society.

‘To combat terrorism, we need to establish an ideal example of deed, conduct and behaviour’, Agrawal said.

The Gyananjali Monthly lecture Series is organised on first Sunday of every month. On the occasion, Chief lokayukta Justice of Chhattisgarh Public Commission Shambhunath Shrivastav, Director Public Prosecution MW Ansari, Chief Coordinator Indore Zone Bramhakumari Hemlata Didi, and Regional Administrator Raipur Bramhakumari Sister Kamla were also present.
