Teacher outsourcing hits jobless youth: Sharma

Staff Reporter

Senior Congress leader and former Education Minister Satyanarayan Sharma has charged the Chhattisgarh government with neglecting the government schools in the State.

Addressing a press conference here at Congress Bhawan on Friday, Sharma said both the School Education Minister and the BJP government in the State were responsible for the degradation of the Government schools.

The Minister is claiming that the budget for education has increased to 14 fold but astonishingly the schools are facing dearth of Principals, Head Masters and teachers, he said.

Sharma also criticized the decision of the BJP ruled government for outsourcing of teachers for tribal schools. This is badly hampering the interests of unemployed tribal youth, he said.
