A Sub Engineer of Bhilai Municipal Corporation (BMC) lost his life after his bike collided head-on with an auto rickshaw near the BMC office on Thursday morning, police said.
According to the police, the deceased identified as Jagdish Chandra Dhotre was heading towards his office around 10:30 am. An auto rickshaw which was coming out after dropping some employees from the BMC office collided head on with Dhotre’s bike who was coming from other side, police said.
He was rushed to a city hospital in 108 ambulance service where doctors declared him brought dead. A case in this connection has been registered with the concerned police station.
