Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Monday said that the Government should stop printing new Rs 2000 currency notes.

"Counterfeit Rs 2000 currency notes can come into the market and also encourage corruption as it is easy to store so it should not be printed", he said while addressing a press conference here.

The Yoga Guru arrived in Raipur on Monday to participate in the 'Bhilai Yog Jayanti ' programme to be held on Tuesday in the steel city.

Baba Ramdev while terming the demonetisation as 'historic', said that the Prime Minister has honest intentions in getting the country rid of black money.

About 80 to 85 per cent of the black money in India is in the internal system. I am sure the Prime Minister would also rid black money from land dealings, gold, mining, politics and education, he said.

Baba Ramdev said that he is certain that Modi will be able to also bring black money stashed abroad.

The Prime Minister fears none so he will also be able to bring back black money stashed abroad, he said.

On World Health Organisation (WHO), Baba Ramdev commented that the drugs prescribed by it are unaffordable for the poor.

The allopathic drugs are a Rs 100 crore global market and they have side-effects. We can find a way to good health through yoga, he said.

Baba Ramdev said that 'Achche Din' (good days) can be brought only by the people themselves and for that they will have to work hard. "One who practices Yoga will be able to bring 'Achche Din'".

He said that the event at Bhilai is also aimed at creating a world record with the largest number of participants in a Yoga event.

"We are expecting one lakh people to participate and there will be officials from Golden Book of World Records' to witness the event", Baba Ramdev said.
