Training is being imparted to the personnel of State Disaster Force in flood relief and rescue works at Telibandha Talab in the state capital.
In this practice training, the jawans were being imparted heavy training through motorboats and rubberboats for protecting life and property of people during flood. According to official sources, hundred Nagar Sainiks have been included in the State Disaster Force. The Jawans of the force have been getting regular training at the Central Training Institution Nagar Sena and Nagarik Suraksha, Mana, Raipur.
Officers of Central Training Institution said that the State Disaster Force has been constituted for the rescue and relief works in the event of flood or other natural calamities. The institution has been imparting one-month training to each jawan of this force. Training in flood relief and rescue operation is included in the basic training itself, they added.
