All India Congress Committee Treasurer and chairman of party’s state election committee Motilal Vora will address a public meeting at Rajnandgaon on November 5.
The public meeting scheduled at 2 pm will also be attended by Member of Rajya Sabha Mohsina Kidwai, former chief minister and convenor of election panel Ajit Jogi, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee president Charandas Mahant and Union Minister Kumari Selja.
According to a release issued by Congress media cell chief Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, Congress High Command Sonia Gandhi will now address public meetings at Kondagaon and Dongargaon on November 7. Earlier she was scheduled to address public meetings at Kondagaon and Rajnandgaon. Now, national vice president of Congress Rahul Gandhi will address public meetings at Kanker and Rajnandgaon on October 8. On November 9 Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will address a public meet in Raipur, the release added.
