BJP candidate from Raipur (West) constitunecy Rajesh Munat spent the last day of election campaigning amid the public and said that the BJP Government’s third term will further add to the progress of the State.

He said that if people marked him on the basis of his work in the past 10 years, he has a sure shot at winning the Assembly polls. He ruled out the possibility of the Congress winning the polls and said he had expected that the Congress would give them a tough competition but going by the public’s response, BJP’s victory is confirmed.

“Congress is helpless. The voters in the State have made up their mind to let the BJP win for the third time in the State and in Raipur, South,” said Munat. Talking about misrule, he said the Congress Government has failed to control the price rise and it has resulted in weakening of our economy. “People from every section of the society want the Congress to go. Only in States where there is the BJP Government, poor go to sleep without having to worry about hunger pangs,” he said.

He said there were no schemes for poor in any of the Congress-ruled States and they were forced to commit themselves. He urged the voters to take the BJP’s work into account before they cast their votes. Bringing actress Smriti Irani to campaigning attracted a huge crowd. Men, women and youngsters were eager to catch a glimpse of Irani.

“I am overwhelmed by the love and affection of people towards Munat in Raipur, West,” she said and urged the people to vote for the BJP on November 19.
